A couple of us went out there to the open invite, and had a really good time. There isn't alot of trail riding but some, but there is alot of play ground area---hill climbs, wash outs, rocks to play on, ect. The trails that go off up on the mountain and wind around are pretty easy (unless it's wet) but the subsequently more difficult trails that short cut between them up the side of the mountain much more difficult. They range from narrow up-hill wash outs between trees, to sheer cliff rock walls (rock buggy stuff). It was the typical traffic jams and hurry up and wait, when you try to fit 50-75 rigs/buggys into a given area and everybody wants to all be in the same place. The traffic jam issues would be alot better w/ a small group such as ours.
I'm going to try to get w/ the powers that be, to see if we could have a group/club ride there. There is no nite riding, but there is primitive camping there for over nite stays.
Hopefully more info to follow
