Sweet. Glad to hear you got it running again. Ought to swing by sometime. I am sure my neighbors miss seeing other big trucks in my drive way, plus the guy down the street thinks his STOCK Jeep on 33's is a "Hard Core Wheeler".

I started installing the electric fans and ps cooler a few days ago. Had to babysit all day today, so it put me a little behind the power curve. Anyway I managed to finish it up except for a little work on the bundles of wires.

Here is the aux fan, it has thermostat on temp of 195 and is also wired through the oba switch. The cooler is from an exploder, tranny cooler.

Here is the taurus fan, I mounted it with those push through jobbies. I'll be changing them shortly. This is controlled by a toggle under the dash,

Here is my ratsnest of wires. I have a 75/120 relay for the hi side of the furd fan, and a 30/50 for the low side. Running a 60a fuse with the hi side, 30a with the low side. I searched for a while for relays that would handle the hi amp draw on the furn fan, and had three of them in my junk. I got them out of a land rover something, looked them up and they are cont duty 75/120a relays!! saved some coin. :D

I like these jewels, they have so many uses.

http://coloradok5.com/photos/data/500/hoodlight.jpg

I was not to enthusiastic about cutting holes in the dash for switches, so I looked around and found two holes under the dash that mounts the toggles nicely. This one controls the furd fan, it's straight wired so I can leave it running after the truck shuts off.

This is my ghetto switch panel, it is an ashtray front with hole drilled in it. I don't like cutting dashes so this one fits in the original ashtray spot. And I can take this out and put the ashtray back and you wouldn't know the difference. It has switches for the front lites, rock lites, oba, and ?.

I did find out that I need to do some serious reinforcing in the front between the framerails. It has some twisting action going on now, figuring a X brace and a 1" bar across the front on the original bumper mount holes should suffice. Especially with hyd assist.

1.Find out what kind of fans they are
2. I run relays with either a fuse or CB in line with them
3. summit makes a great kit for about 40$ it has a sensor that plugs into the block and acts as the ground prong on the relay, so it cuts on and off when the temps reach specified levels.
