After a few years of wheelin my rockers had started to show signs of wear. So today I started on some new and improved rockers. Here you go.

I used a piece of 6x4x1/4. Its all I had, so I split it and capped the top with 1/4 x 4

Tapered the ends and capped them.

im sure you not worried about it but did you make them where you could put a set of doors back on...im thinking of doing something similar later on but doing some boatsiding as well

I didn't tie them to the frame. Its all body and factory body supports. I may tie it to the frame once the rest of the cage is done. Don't really know yet.

I bet the hardest part was welding the thinner steel to the thicker stuff. Are you going to put any kind of step on there?

Yeah, the pic of the crinkled up one..............That was my side!!!! It gave about an extra 2" for the footing. I have been known to slip and fall out before, so maybe they will help. I hope!!!!!:rolleyes:
