Haha,

Yeah, I like the MUD, but I do like good trail rides. I'll admit I don't have a problem with rock crawlers. I'm just afraid of breaking my girl. Mud is forgiving. Rocks hurt. I also love to run the beach. I hope to get my tires into some of the sand at Oregon Inlet before the (insert your idea here) make it off limits permanently.

I hope to meet up with y'all real soon.

Manny

When I was working on the Chesapeake and Ohio, running the rails through Newport News, there is a spur that runs across Jefferson Hwy and out to the coal plants where we used to drop off coke and pick up the empties. Right along those tracks are some powerlines and the nastiest mud holes. I mean gooey slop. One day as we were rollin' through at about 5 mph, we found a Chevy truck lifted on 44's buried. They were all alone and were digging themselves out. What a mess.

I bet chevymudtruck has been back there.

lol thanks and some people don't like to fallow me . . lol . .
but anyhow . . yeah I think your talking about richneck . . they got some nasty holes there . . I pulled a couple people out down there when I was back on 35's . . also a place off wolftrap that is pretty nasty by the railroads . . . barried it once on 35's where guy on 40's was stuck the week before . .that wasn't cool but got it home and went bigger . . lol
and I live in the southern part of Newport News near newmarket off mercury. . . another forum I'm on people like to go rock crawling . . I'll try it one day either when I finish my s10 or i get a 60 in the front of the green truck . . I eat axle shafts about everytime I go out

oh yeah anyone here good on identifing big axles? . . . lol

Holy crap! Those are big. Looks like they came out from under a loader or something similar. Maybe you could call John Deere or a nearby equipment dealer? Dammit man, you'd have a have a good size diesel just to push those things. Wow....

well I wanted to pull em apart and see what was in the plantitaries . . probably 2 or 3 to one and then pull the hogs head (have to use the wrecker probably lol) and see what gear is in them . . wild hair (the monster truck) runs a 5.86 and 3:1 . . .they go like 45 mph . .thats pretty quick up that high and if it spins in the mud we are good . .lol

Those axle came out of some kind of truck that run air brakes. I've seen a Military plane loader (Kinda like a scissor jack, with a platform on top) with four axles and they looked like that. I bet there in the 25000 lbs to 30000 lbs range.
