I took the gay nerf bars off of it first thing.
1996 K2500 454 Vortec, tow package delete, oil cooler, trans cooler, 3.73s instead of the 4.10s.
Plenty of BBC power and an almost respectable 14-16mpg (best ever highway).
10mpg in stop and go traffic or towing. I drive really friggin fast so that don't help things.
I would like to get some airbags for the rear, and some Banks headers.
It's always towing something. 8)
